President: Sharan McPadden

Sharan is a native of Lake County and founding Board member of Suit Yourself. She is an active volunteer in her community and finds her volunteer work extremely rewarding. Education is also high on Sharan's list as she has been employed in education for 15 years. Working with students and watching their potential unfold inspires Sharan. As the Admission Coordinator/Community Service Coordinator at  Andrews Osborne Academy she also serves as the Blue Key advisor where she works with student leaders and ambassadors.

Sharan received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing and Master of Science in Education from Lake Erie College where she graduated with honors. While in college she was a member of Who's Who in Higher Education and Mortar Board. While employed at Lake Erie College she served as the Mortar Board advisor and was recognized as Advisor of the Year. Sharan has taught career planning courses and enjoys assisting women in creating their resume, strengthening their interview skills and preparing them for the working world.

Family, education and volunteering are very important to Mrs. McPadden and she takes pride in all three.

Treasurer: Barbara Britt

Barbara Britt has been in the employment and training arena for over 25 years. She began her career in 1979 with the Lake County Employment and Training Administration office where she held positions as Youth Monitor, Adult Career Counselor, and Coordinator of Client Services. Currently the Coordinator of Experiential Education at Lakeland Community College she has administered the Cooperative Education program since its resurrection in 1991. She is responsible for co-op job development, marketing, and placement. Barbara has been a member of the Midwest Cooperative Education Association. She has been an active member of Ohio Cooperative Education Association serving as a past member of the Training Committee, Chairperson of the Two-Year College Committee, the Annual Conference Planning Committee, and the OCEA Executive Board.

Ms. Britt has participated in many college-wide committees including the Planning Advisory Committee, Team Lakeland, and the Staff Professional Development Committee. Most recently Barbara was a Tri-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP).

In addition, Barbara has served as Vice President and President of the Painesville City Improvement Corporation, former Executive Board member and Scholarship Chairperson for the Lake County Branch NAACP, Trustee and Secretary for the Harvey High School Alumni Endowment Fund, a past state-appointed member of the Lake County Mental Health Board, and past Secretary for the Lakeland Staff Association.

Barbara holds a BA in Sociology from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and a MS in Administration from Central Michigan University. She is a graduate of the Leadership Lake County, Inc. program, and recently received the Lakeland Community College Distinguished Service Award for Staff which was presented at the 1999 commencement ceremony. In 2006, Barbara was awarded the Professional Women Institute's "Woman of Achievement Award" for her role in founding the non-profit organization, Suit Yourself Inc.

Vice President: Pat Cassella

Pat has been a Suit Yourself volunteer since 2005. She is a registered nurse and has been employed at Lake Hospital System for the past 30 years. Her experience includes staff nurse, department manager and currently is Employee Health Practitioner. In addition to a nursing degree Pat is a graduate of Lake Erie College with an MBA. She has participated in programs for personnel development and training as part of her healthcare career. Pat's experience in the hiring of professionals has defined her belief that first impressions mean a great deal to the potential employee as well as the employer.

Pat is active in the Western Reserve Junior Service League, the Lake County LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) and many hospital-related employee safety and emergency preparedness activities.

She is the mother of three children and has six granddaughters. She is active in her community and along with her husband enjoys traveling.
